Easier sideloading process for everyone!
Sideloading currently is a complicated process to go through with more steps involved than it feels necessary to really have, especially if you're not actually a developer. If it could be more like a simple switch like it is on Android, and if we could just transfer over an APK and install it in one click, that would be fantastic. It would be great if we had such a simple process for Quest, too!
If it isn't so easy to make it such a simple process, even then, it would still be greatly appreciated if the process could be made a bit more easier at least.

Having to side load the Netflix app to download videos to watch on airplanes combined with the complexity of doing this is the biggest flaw for both the Go and the Quest. I do it and people always ask me about it and want one for themselves. I have to explain to them the added complexity of setting it up, which many people simply aren't going to be able to do.

This is a must. There are third party apps that I believe are also just as important to the Quest's success (adult industry) and it needs to be an easier process for stuff like this. All the while Oculus can still have their high standards for the app store.
Let the app store be the end goal for developers, but let us have back our "Oculus Share" times where it was easy to pass around concepts. This is how amazing things are accidently discovered. The learning phase is still not over, but Oculus is really acting like it is.
I respect the fact that they have higher curation standards, it makes sense.. but I don't think making sideloading easier is in opposition to that goal.

Absolutely. Would be great for experimental ideas that don't make it through the filter for Quest to still be able to get an audience without needing those who might be interested to become a 'developer' with a server-side authentication
