Oculus Rift S and Rift
Welcome to the Oculus Rift S and Rift feedback forum! This is the location to provide all your feature requests and ideas for the Oculus Rift platform. We're looking forward to hearing from you on the following areas of the product:
- Dash: Oculus Dash is the in-VR command center the pops up when you hit the Oculus button on your Touch controller. Dash allows you to access PC Desktop apps, your VR Library, and other system settings and services from anywhere in VR.
- Desktop App: This is the out-of-VR Oculus application on your PC that allows you to do things like browse the store, manage your settings, and view your friends list, among other things.
- General: Use this category for any feedback that doesn’t fit neatly into one of the other more specific categories.
- Home: This is your customizable in-VR home where you can show off your unique style and decorations.
- Store: The place where all VR app purchasing takes place. The Store category covers both the out-of-VR and in-VR stores.

Make it possible to start directly in Store instead of Home
Normally I use Store and my apps - only. Having to always load a giant ship and scenic view of the Mediterranean Sea feels like overkill and annoying when I just want to go to the Store.
Why not add a switch to Dash allowing users to decide if Home or Store should be loaded as default, when putting on the HMD or when exiting a game or app?
Also the new Store is awesome, and has a simplistic design like classic Home (Core 1.0), thus users missing classic Home may enjoy to have the new Store set as default…

PLEASE stop Store autoloading inside headset
PLEASE stop Store and other dash screens autoloading inside headset.
Whenever I put the headset on, Home starts loading, but then also the STORE and other Dash screens load. Can you please allow a setting that just loads the Home without the Dash screens.
I am trying to setup VR demo's at a sales event using Home as starting point. Now I have to constantly click away the Store screens using the touch controller whenever a participant puts on the headset.1 vote -
Have real life game accessories in the store and the ability to order it straight from the headset to your house
Like in the movie 'ready player one' the Oculus store should implement real-life accessories like haptic items and additional sensors, wires, treadmills and more. It would also be cool to be able to pick up and look at the things that we wanted to buy inside the headset and then order it straight to our house plus it would be useful to have all the accessories and especially haptics and treadmills in one place instead of having to spend hours on the internet trying to find them.

Bigger screen view for watching preview videos
Why do I get this really awesome positional video experience but get the view of a 50" screen from a distance instead of a bigger theatre view to enjoy a preview? We should have the VR equivalent of a full screen option for viewing preview videos and screenshots. You have this whole spheric 3D environment and yet we don't have a ported 3D video preview option or immersion preview for games in VR? Even screenshots should be 3D window shots of the VR games and experiences. Instead we're doing it like we still are on happypuppy.com.

I would have thought the Rift and VR in general was wide open to using voice commands. A simple set like "Run" "Walk" "Re-load" just a thoug
Voice commands for games! Simple command structure like "Run" or "Walk" Or re-load" for now, with the option to increase the vocabulary as and when!

Anyone else lost the ability to watch 3D movies?
2/18/2018 was the last time I was able to watch any of my movies purchased in Oculus Video or even watch trailers. I noticed this on February 24th when I tried to watch a recently purchased movie.
All other functionality of Oculus Video seems to work and I am able to stream movies from at least one other site using other applications with a virtual desktop option.
It would be nice if we were able to sort available movies as well as those purchased.
It would be great if more 3D movies were made available to purchase.

Small payments wishlist
Small payments wishlist. Let's say you have a bunch of friends. they should be able to give you say $1 and it goes into an Oculus wallet (similiar to steam wallet) and once you have enough you can buy a game. (or pay the remainder yourself).
It'd be handy to help a friend buy a game, but not pay all of it, or if a group of friends for example has a multi-player game and wants one of their just-bought-an-Oculus friend to join, they can pay some of the cost.

Add Search and Mutli-User Store. Allow users to walk around store with friends. Developers can create their own rooms.
Please add search to the store. voice search seemed to work well in the old store.
Add multi user virtual store, so users can walk around and shop with friends. Perhaps developers can create there own environments/rooms that users can walk into.

When sorting by user rating, don't put games first than have less then 5 ratings
At the moment sorting by user ratings doesn't return the best experiences first. Games that have had 1 or 2, 5 star ratings shouldn't be put at the top of the list as that is very open to abuse and I've seen very old games constantly at the top of the list with 1 vote. Only rank games that have at least 5 ratings to more accurately reflect the customer's views.

Display prices in local currency - old store did this
I live in the UK. Prior to Rift Home 2, prices were in GBP (£) - now they're in USD ($) and no obvious way to change - this discourages me from buying from the store.
Can't understand why this is in the old store but not in the beta.2 votes -
Demo Scene that was mentioned in past interview
A while back there was the idea for each game to have a demo scene that a person could try out before buying a game. It was a cool idea and think this should still be something you do.

Resizing und placement of store windows
Until we can walk around in the store please make it possible to position and resize the store windows like the windows in Dash to make them easier to read and use.

Allow launching of installed apps from the Store
When browsing store listings, it would be useful, for installed apps, to be able to launch them there and then, instead of having to go to the library.
There have been a number of times when I've been browsing the store that I decided to stop browsing, and have wanted to launch an installed game there and then.
Currently the user has to go to the library, and find the game they want to launch. This takes longer, as the user was already on the app / game they wanted to launch when browsing the store.
