Allow To Rollback Software/Driver Update
Since the last update on 23th december 2019, the oculus developers bricked almost 50% of people headsets cause they were all throwing "displayport not detected" due to a bug in software or driver, is just this makes me mad, how a simple, but essential feature is missing, to rollback this update to a previous version of oculus firmware/driver/software , can fix this issue for tons of people....
JUST ADD IT:

Same issue. Updating firmware bricked my Rift CV1. Now software version is "bootloader" and it is not updating. Need to way to flash firmware
This is desperately needed. Would help massively in troubleshooting the current performance issues with Unreal engine games
Same here, and I've been in touch with Oculus but they only have solutions that are no solutions. I've a bricked Rift S for three weeks now, and I see no way to be able to use it to more than a paperweight, which is expensive as such. I am about to publish an article about the problem, as apparently none of the regular VR websites talks about this... I already did publish a first article on my Outpost2 page at Medium, about my BAD experience. We're not supposed to have to play the game "Restart the Oculus Software" over and over and over again...
Same here, I just submitted a ticket for the same problem, it's definitely not an unknown issue, I can temporarily solve this by disconnecting both the cables, restart the pc, then plug them back, if for some reason I forget to do that, it won't work. I suppose there's a reset failure in the USB controller, that's maybe the main reason the software continuously asks me to restart it, without succeeding.
Same. I want a refund!
