It seems like you've forgotten about the Rift S, can we have more interesting features and ideas?
At OC6 nothing new was announced for the Oculus Rift S but many things were announced for the quest. Can we get some more cool features?

I agree 100%. Xbox Series S, Playstation 5, Xbox One S and X and PS4 Pro all come out and all games still "work" on the og systems that released 7 months ago. With Oculus though? The Rift S came out almost two years ago, the Quest 2 two months ago and the Rift S is already being gated out of new updates and games. No 90hz update. No finger tracking update. No Jurassic World Aftermath. No Myst VR. Like, what gives? This has to be some of the worst support for past adopters I've seen and this is only a 2 year old system that is only really held back by the graphics card in your computer and not the phone hardware that's in the Quest 2. I feel absolutely like Oculus just took a royal turd on my face.
This is on top of their terrible pricing of both Jurassic World Aftermath and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy.Oculus won't be getting any more of my money. Fool me once, but never again.

This is incredibly vague and sounds like a needy child who didn’t get as good of a toy as his older brother

I own both Rift S and Quest i would say the screen door effect is less on the Rift S and you can wear the Rift S for longer. And the Quest Link has a time limit with the battery slowly discharging while in use. But it does annoy me that i can't even use Youtube on my Rift S (steamVR is limited 1080p). It seems all the good software and firmware is on the Quest.

I just purchased a Rift S for Christmas. I figured "everything that comes to the Quest will come to the Rift S." And yet there has been nothing noteworthy announced as compatible for the Rift S. I haven't even opened the box yet and I'm having serious FOMO. Why don't we have hand/finger tracking? That should be an easy port to the Rift S with its camera array. And yet nothing. What gives?

Honestly I'm getting more than a little cheesed off that I've put more money and effort than the quest-using casual, in the same hardware generation, only to get nothing new AND hear about something great the quest is getting every f-ing day. Did Oculus just sell me a screen so they could invest in the quest? Wtf guys. The fact that they haven't said anything just feels like a middle finger

This. As someone who isn't interested in the wireless experience the Quest offers, I'm either stuck with the WMR headset I have now (Lenovo) or I save a few paychecks for an Index (Which I'd rather not do right now). The Rift S is seeming less and less like a supported product.
