Rift S controllers battery life.
The batteries in the controllers run out quickly. About 2-3 days. It doesn't seem to depend on whether I use them or not. But when I stop the Oculus service between gaming sessions batteries last much longer. It seems like it would be nice to better tune the idle mode of the helmet and controllers.

If you unplug the usb connection when not playing, they last a LOT longer.
Too bad we have to do this though.' -

Crazy battery issues. For a product to have been around so many year..such a hardware issue should have been fixed long ago.
I closed the main occulus app and yet i can see the lights are on... -

I only using the Oculus rift S to watch movies in Virtual desktop ..and is not need to use the controller ...but still the battery drain off very quickly ...and make the Virtual desktop to hanged .
I tried disable the controller in the set up , and removed completely the battery . but the battery issues pop up again as the Oculus detect Controller has no battery
How to solve this ??

They could add an option to turn off controller vibration in the Oculus settings, it drains battery life more than you think.

I am surprised there is no sleep time setting. My theory is, the controllers timeout to sleep is too long. There should be a signal coming from the headset that tells them to wake up or sleep. I am surprised no one from Oculus has given any notice about this.

Short term - just buy some rechargeable batteries
Long term - Oculus should make the HMD and controllers come with rechargeable batteries that charge using wireless charging when the controllers are placed in the dock like box for storage. This ensures that your mobile device is always ready to go.

Ya I agree with battery drain even though not using the controllers. Fix it Oculus! Going on my fourth set batteries!
