Fix Rift S Microphone intermittent quality dropping (Robot / Metallic voice)
I'd like to request you guys to fix the intermittent microphone quality dropping that a lot of users are facing on the Rift S. Here's a link to show you how the issue shows up:
https://clips.twitch.tv/IgnorantAntediluvianAlfalfaPanicBasket
As you can listen the quality drop occurs just for a few seconds, but it's random and intermittent getting people annoyed in social games like Pavlov VR, VRChat and RecRoom. Hope you guys can fix it somehow. I have opened a support ticket already but they couldn't help me to fix the problem. Thanks.

Same issue here as well. I have tried everything from completely reinstalling to going into beta and all sorts of crazy things that would be considered over kill. Please fix the mic situation. It got to the point where the only thing my pc was running was just the rift s and i still had the issue.

Same here - microphone sounds like static to other players. I have to use a desktop mic instead. Any hope for a fix? Thanks!

this is getting beyond a joke, first i had the black screen/static issue that they got me to try alsorts of fixes for until patch 1.39 now this. now from support i get "we notice from your logs your running AI suite 3 and sonic suite 3, SERIOUSLY? so a cpu/ram/fan manager is going to effect a mic? oh and make sure i have the latest drivers and software.
just be ******** honest with us and say theres a problem and your working in it

Yeah I asked for a replacement and I had the same problem with the mic its all metallic and robotic. I even tried ALL solutions and they keep giving me useless methods. I even used a different PC to test it and the mic still faded into a normal sound and back into said metal sound. It's pretty outrageous to send it back for the THIRD time.

I have the same problem as the person in this published video, I tried to reinstall all drivers, reinstall Oculus software and nothing solves my problem with Rift S.
That works intermittently, time works well, time has this problem of metallic voice and crashing.

When my microphone is on, the only thing people hear is static, nothing else. I think gaming tech that is this advanced should at least have a decent microphone, considering it's usually required in most multiplayer games.

Yes, I have this problem too. And I cannot go 10 minutes without my mic quality going haywire. Not only that it annoys me, but also friends on Discord, VRChat, and RecRoom. It's a straight up embarrassment, and a consistent bother to everyone.
