It would be VERY helpful to the 70% or so of your customers that wear glasses if you would at least provide a deeper pad that would allow for the use of glasses when using the appliance..... I had to buy a special pair of micro glasses to use with the Rift.
I came here to post the same idea. I was disappointed to find your post with only 2 upvotes. VR is a thing of the future and I think them adding the ability to make it so you can adjust it based on your eye site. If you think about it when you go to the eye doctors and they do the whole "is this better or this? One or two?" is basically the same technology they could use inside a VR.
I myself wear glasses and I HATE wearing my glasses in my VR. I don't have the fogging up issue like some but my glasses touch the lenses and sometimes I have a hard time putting on the headset with my glasses. I have the original rift and not the rift s. The new head feature is the only thing that kept me from upgrading because its a pain to put over my head with glasses unlike the original rift. So when I know im going to be gaming a while I put my contacts in. Not everyone can use contacts. I know plenty of people who cannot touch their eyes and that is already a major disadvantage.
A feature like this would be useful for us wearers. This would be a feature no other VR has and would make it another step to being the best.
Fun fact, 75% of adults in the US wear some sort of eye correction glasses. 64% of that wear glasses while only 11% of that wear contacts.
