Create an offline installer/driver of your oculus. Repairing it means redownloading everything and it takes long for people who doesn't have fast internet
Or, at the very least fix your **** software so we don't get stuck at the "three dots" screen and have to uninstall and reinstall every few hours.
Amen! I have crap internet where I live and it literally takes 45+ minutes per 500mb of download, plus I have a cap on my monthly use (only satellite and cell tower internet available at my address). It is massively enraging (not to mention expensive) when the entire installer restarts the download of there is an interruption of any kind. And heaven forbid you need to ever repair the device drivers because the whole damn install download has to be done again! Seriously, I'm sure the only reason why a class action suit hasn't been started over this yet is only the (as yet) relatively small number of users. Oculus! Provide a bloody offline installer! Have it require a check for updates if you must, but seriously, get your shit together! Not every user has access to premium internet!

Oculus Rift S installer is a pain even if one has fast Internet connection. I have access to pretty good bandwidth but the installer got stuck at 7.12 GB / 7.34 GB. After a couple of hours of waiting I finally aborted the installation.
Now the installer is stuck at "cleaning up."
Hopefully I will be able to install again. I don't think I have time to install it now. Perhaps some other day. Unless the guys at Oculus manage to provide both a working and an offline installer.
best idea ever.
maybe new croudfund?
