VR without a controller
I was thinking, and you know how in vr you have to use controllers to move around and grab things? Well, what if, somewhat like the Kinect camera you get with Xbox's that let you point at something and it loads it up for you (like Just Dance, for example), what if you used an improved version of that which meant you are looking at a thing on the screen through your headset, and you reach out to something and clench your fists, picking up the object, or you extend a finger to press a button. The camera could even be, in improved models, inside your headset (when you have enough experience on how to compact the technology enough for it to fit inside a headset) so it would be looking directly at your arms and hands, so there would be no distraction by other people, and you wouldn't have to set up the camera, or have the thing you want to touch in the view of your screen. I know its a bit optimistic, but its a cool idea.
Its already possible. You just need Driver4VR and a MS Kinect with Kinect for Windows adapter
