Options, options, options!
We should have native option to disable/enable Oculus Desktop app from loading when using i.e. SteamVR. Also we should have option to disable Home 2 environment from loading while the Dash also should have option to be on in that empty environment and in games if needed.

Yes, definitely this. Everyone (including Oculus) knows that there are VR games not available on the Oculus Store. Some of those games, even though they support Rift and Touch, cannot be launched from Oculus Home, and some (I'm looking at you steam) mandatorily have their own platform (ie. SteamVR).
When trying to play one of these games, it eats up system resources for no reason at all to have the entire suite of Oculus software running in the background. It's being debated how many Mb of memory is actually used, but frankly, if there is no purpose for it to be running, even 1 Mb is too much. Games are very system intense these days, especially VR games, and we cannot afford to simultaneously be running 2 separate launch platforms to run 1 game. It's ludicrous.
