Portable VR Streaming Camera - Stream more than your sight!
Watching Brass Tactics streams can be vomit inducing on YouTube or Twitch due to the fast movements, but it's a wonderful game and needs to be shared. However, I want to watch more VR streams. Imagine be able to spawn a camera in any game and stream from it through your streamer of choice. Like a VR 3rd person camera.
- Stream with your favorite streaming tool OR a built-in streamer that connects to Youtube, Twitch or Facebook - The idea is OPTIONS
- Place the camera at the angle you want
- Grab the camera and go handheld or even flip it around selfie style.
- Multi-Camera angle setup that you can switch between.
- Import Chat feeds and other streaming dashboard goodies
Let's get more VR streams out there! Having the right tools can make the viewing experience so much better.
Yes yes yes! 1000 times yes! the desktop view for most games is just the in-game view cropped to 16:9, which doesn't allow people watching to see anything being done in the periphery of the player, yet so many games that do VR right allow the player to naturally interact without looking at what they're doing!
A 3rd person camera would allow viewers to see that the reason the pov got shaky for a moment is that the player/streamer was reloading, using an arm menu without looking, or was just dancing.
Some games offer mixed reality recording, and adding a 3rd person camera would be even easier than that, since it wouldn't be necessary to track it with a real-world object (though it isn't much of a leap from one to the other)
Games that implement this already to some extent (that I know of) are Rec Room's streaming cam and Eleven Table Tennis' 3rd person desktop view, but I'd especially like to see it implemented in Gun Club VR.
