How can we improve the Oculus Rift platform?

I would love to have an interactive functioning radio or record-player in the room, were you could upload say 3-5 songs which you could then select to play when in the room.
Visiting friends should also be able to interact with it and check out your music...you learn a lot about a person from the music they listen to :-)

    I love this idea, and would be great for personally made music, but the problem I see with commercial music is the copyright for the artist?

    Record player absolutely. Phonograph please. Also a visualizer would be great of some kind, sort of like on audio waves bouncing on the walls type thing.

    This is a great idea. It would also be cool if it looked/worked like a record player in your home.
