Forced to watch safety video every time app is opened without internet access
It didn't work properly since 1.17 and still hasn't been fixed in 2.0 beta.
Every time you attempt open the application, you are forced to sit through the safety video, and the setting to turn it off never sticks.
Same with allowing 3rd party apps.
Need help: it's same here...
We've just installed 4x Oculus Rift headsets at a permanent install where the machines are meant to run headless and power up and down remotely with no direct user interaction. Three of the four machines are ok and don't have this safety notice video bug, but one does and this was the first time we found this out! You're messing up this job and your name, we won't be using Oculus for permanent installs ever again unless this bug is squashed! If it happens with the other four headsets for some reason, then we'll be tearing them out as they'll be essentially useless.
we need help!!!!!@oculus
Same issue here. It's just a boolean parameter and you don't know how to code that properly... It's become ridiculous...
Same here new instalation and no way yo open OH without seeing the video.
Also ir dnt store other configs like 3rd party apps enabled
Same problem here a few months later, this persists.

I am experiencing this same exact issue for months with no resolution, no response for the tickets I filed and feeling utterly frustrated with my experience to date.
I am extremely disappointed with the inability to contact Oculus directly. We spent money on this product and you don't even provide a phone number to call for support?
"Community support" is something I would expect from a free, open-source product, not a $400.00 product!

I just uninstalled my software to try to re-install on another drive and I can't even get past the video the very first time. I'm using the most up-to-date OculusSetup installer. After the video is done, the "Next" button does not become active.

(For me at least) it wouldon't let me disable it in settings unless I watch the safety video it prompts you to watch after you disable it
