Add 'Quick Launch' tab for Desktop Apps
Right now, if I wanted to open say, Spotify, as a "pulled out" app, I have to, go to the Oculus Desktop tab, navigate my desktop, go to my windows start menu, open Spotify, then 'grab it out', then close Oculus Desktop.
Lots of manual effort, very clunky.
What I'd like is a tab to the left of Oculus Desktop called 'Quick Launch', where I can add my favorite apps (eg. Chrome, Spotify, Discord, Netflix) as a sort of "speed dial".
Kind of like the Windows Start Menu, except it's within VR, and when I launch any of these apps they will start "grabbed out" already, no full desktop view.
This would make it a lot easier to use Oculus Dash for 2D apps.

would love for these to be in the scrollwheel on Dash, like over to the right.

Great idea. Taken another step, allow for saved configurations of multiple apps to be launched at once. The set of apps launch at once and are shown in the same "grabbed out" position they were in when the configuration was saved. If an app was already open, it could just move to its correct spot.
This would allow for quick access to entire desktop workspaces, ready for either high productivity or long sessions in VR apps with supporting 2D apps all in position and ready to go (webcam to monitor the real world, spotify, notifications for email and texts, Slack or Discord, etc.).

This is exactly what I had expected going into Dash for the first time.

or apps (even chrome windows with a default address) could just be buttons on the 'belt'
much like pinning something to the taskbar in windows. you would pin an app to the belt. -
