Does anyone know the title of the musical theme playing in the background of Home in Rift?

To turn the music off just go into your desktop audio mixing settings and mute "Oculus Home" (it'll have an Unreal "U" Logo) when in the Rift. It doesn't affect other games or applications and stops that bloody annoying music.

Even just an audio slider for the music in the virtual home would be fine. Like within a game you can adjust the master volume, sound effects, voice, music, etc. I would prefer to listen to my Spotify (a Spotify/Pandora/Music app would be nice too, though I know this isn't really in your control)

I do not like the music that plays in my virtual home. I would like to be able to play my personal music instead. Is there any way we can get something similar to Amazon's Alexa for oculus home. Something that I can use to stream my Amazon music playlists to my oculus home.

I think this would be a wonderful idea. If possible, could there be a record player or CD player in the room to add some interactive items without having to use the Home menu?

How do you turn the background music off or down? I searched but couldn't find how to do it.

you have the option to turn it off, but the only way to keep music playing is to have the window pinned. we should be able to keep audio going without needing to pin our music player for when we exit dash and go back to home.

The volume of the music can be turned all the way down and then like Dutchdog said, just use iTunes or whatever and pin the window to your display. Sucks that you have to keep a window pinned, but I just made it really small and placed it at my feet so I couldn't really see it unless I needed it.

You kind of can do this. Just open up your desktop while in dash and play music via your method of choice. I was just doing this today :)
