Allow organisation of library through categories.
Simple really.
Please let us categorize our games. Example: Favorites, multiplayer, creative, app, vr experience, arcade shooter, simulator.
My library has become so large & it's not getting any smaller.

Thanks for submitting this idea! Categories have been introduced to the Library section of the Oculus software in the form of the Filters feature. In Library, click the Filters button in the top right to see a variety of different categories that should help you better navigate your games and apps. We hope you like it! There is a separate idea for marking certain items as ‘favorites’ here: https://rift.uservoice.com/forums/918556-oculus-rift/suggestions/32691043-set-apps-in-library-as-favorites-with-ability-to-s

Plus the "categories" method of displaying library apps should be in the bar along the top:
Recent A-Z Size Location Comfort Genre

While this is a good start, I have to agree with Neil's comment.
Even if you do not allow tagging, having a pre-set category list that we ourselves could categorize our things in to would be great.
Obviously Tagging would be the best possible solution where you would avoid all complaints. But if not some pre-set categories would be great.
As an example following Nei's ideas, I have a number of software that I have bought for VR. When I want to watch a 3D movie, I have to search through hundreds of applications to just fine the few programs I have for watching a movie.
When my niece comes over, there are only certain games that I want her to play, staying away from the more violent games that I am ok with my teenage son playing. Now it is impossible to sort the list on things like that even with the changes.

I'm sorry although it's a step forward for me the filters aren't that useful as we can't define them. For example i want to group all my creative apps together. All the games that I can play with my family. All the Sims i play. All the games I want to show off VR to friends. I want to be able to set these categories up myself and tag the games to them so I can access a group of suitable game quickly. i have 300 games it's not getting any easier. You have been able to do this in steam for years and it's a great feature.

The library Needs Tags. I do not know about others but I have a ton of programs and demo's. Try finding something when you have more then 25-50 programs. We need tags or custom categorization or the usability within VR just becomes a constant scrolling game.

This is pretty important with large libraries... it took me about 5 minutes to find something today.. and it would be so much easier if we could categorize stuff. Example:
- Demo
- Applications
- Game Categories (Multiple Categories / action / space / blah) -
