Old void looks much better
The old void with 'infinite' grid looked much better.
It was cosy, futuristic and felt comfortable and safe compared to the new gray void.

Thanks for submitting this feedback. This is an overdue update, but the grid style void has been implemented. The previous blank gray void should not be visible at this time. Thanks!

I got my CV1 around the same time that the beta started, so I haven't checked if this affects godrays etc, but on the DK2 I can say the old void felt better. The gray seems a bit too dead, and sometimes I feel like it is actually dim instead of gray.
The ability to get to an outrun looking void would be pretty cool, too.

Yes, more void options. Call me a hipster, but I would love to have a black void with green accents. Or something like Tron.
Mewants darker spaces! Dark and neon. :D

I like the new one, but I can see why the old one would be preferred. Main reason I didn't like the old was because it felt especially fake, largely due to the ballooned sort of scaling that's often in used in those kinds of scenes. That, or maybe it was even a stereo panorama.
I definitely don't like the drab grey of the new void though.

I much preferred the sheer sense of scale in the original void. There's not really anything else I've seen that makes you feel like you're in a gigantic space.

I agree with both of you, I'd like to see more options available for what the grid looks like.

I like the new look, but an option for a blank void the color of youir choosing would be good when doing graphically intense work.
