Provide a Guardian sensitivity setting
In its current implementation, the Guardian walls are way too overzealous and pop up every time I move, breaking up my view and destroying immersion. The previous Oculus software was much more lenient with when it would display the boundaries. Users should be able to adjust the sensitivity of the Guardian walls instead of being forced to toggle them on or off.

Thanks for providing and voting for this idea, everyone. As part of a previous software release, we added the ability to adjust the Guardian sensitivity within Rift and Rift S. This includes individual options for both sensitivity to headset and sensitivity to controllers. While in VR, you can access these options by selecting Settings within Dash and choosing Guardian from the settings menu. This idea will now be marked as completed. If you have any new feedback related to these options, please provide them as a separate submission. Thank you!

This is why having updates notes / changelog would be usefull

This is a good idea, but it may need to be something the app developers would need to have access to for tuning. Games like soundboxing or thrill of the Fight or any other fast movement games would turn this on far too often

I play iRacing but the new beta is unusable with it. My cockpit is near the wall so I see the guadrian walls every time. I had to go back to the old system to play... (No I will not switch on and off the boundary every **** time)

Well, this is useless: Yesterday I stopped paying attention to the walls and knocked a glass bottle full of water over some papers. It's not my first little accident playing Echo Arena, but in previous cases I was aware of where I was and/or that I was about to do something stupid. With this update... well, I didn't knew what I knocked nor where I was until I removed the headset. This needs to be fixed! And it would be useful to have a "north indicator" as well.

This is a good idea, but only if it's tunable or optional, otherwise doing something like punching in the middle of your room could potentially trigger the walls unnecessarily.

Totally agree, my VR room is very spacious and set up for room scale but I almost constantly see the guardian boundaries now and it detracts massively from how awesome this update is.

Give us some options for sensitivity. I really wish we could have some more geometry in the bounds, so the space above my megadesk could be used.

Agreed, I can see the boundaries 90% of the time now, it's way too sensitive.

This is a great idea. IMO, the boundary system is kicking in far too soon. I would love to see some options for customizing when the walls show up.

Furthermore, I would much prefer if the Touch controllers didn't create a hole in the wall depending on the distance, it makes it much harder to determine how far my hand are from the wall because of it. The wall should stay complete. At least make it an option.

I think this combined with having the option to adjust the distance would be best. I play EA in a pretty small room. I can do 360 but not much actual front-back or side-side movement. If it was speed of movement my boundaries would still be on all the time even when I'm standing in the middle of the room.
