Fix tracking issue after PTC update. PTC fixed the blackscreen issue but tracking is now terrible.6 votes
Thanks for submitting this idea. Tracking improvements for a variety of Touch controller positions were added as part of the July Rift and Rift S software update. If you continue to experience tracking issues, please contact Oculus support. Thanks!
I'm getting static flashes every couples minutes.119 votes
Hi all – thanks for voting for this idea. The static / white flash issue on Rift S was resolved with the 1.39.1 software update that went out last month. If you are still experiencing similar similar issues after receiving this software update, please contact Oculus support!
The Oculus Rift S cable can get kinked or knotted badly. I believe it would be helpful if Oculus starts selling replacement cables.351 votes
As mentioned in a previous comment, we have begun selling the Oculus Rift S Optical Cable on the Oculus website. You can find the cable listed under the Replacement Parts section of this page: https://www.oculus.com/rift-s/accessories/. Thanks to all who voted for this idea!
When Oculus starts up, it attempts to link to my Facebook account. Every single time it prompts me, even though I've already linked the Oculus to my Facebook account. I could've done it 60 seconds ago, if I close the Oculus app and turn it back on, it's going to prompt me to link my Facebook account. It should just be linked until I unlink it a this point, which makes me think this could potentially be a bug.2 votes
Thanks for your submission. This issue should have been resolved. If you continue to experience issues with Facebook linking, please contact Oculus support. Thank you! https://support.oculus.com/885981024820727/
Vader immortal is currently restricted to the quest. There is no reason to not put it on the rift other than to force people to buy the quest.7 votes
Good news: Vader Immortal: Episode 1 released for Rift S and Rift on June 20, 2019. Check it out!
Since 1.34, clock speeds are being changed willy nilly all over the place.
Many users report their clock speeds going down on both RAM and GPU from what they had set them to.
This is unacceptable. Our hardware clock speeds are ours to choose, not Oculus' decision.8 votes
Thanks for submitting this feedback. As part of the 1.35 Rift software update which began rolling out on 2/12/19, we resolved a Dash issue impacting memory clock speed on NVIDIA cards. As a result, you should no longer be experiencing decreased clock speeds. If you continue to encounter this issue after receiving the 1.35 software update, please contact Oculus Support: ocul.us/contact
Just got my Rift and while I really enjoy it there is nothing more frustrating that going to the menu for the 10th time in the middle of a Beat Saber song. An option to add a 2-3 second delay to the menu buttons would be great.2 votes
Thanks for your submission. As mentioned in the comments below, this functionality can be enabled through an in-VR settings option. It was added through a previous software update. Thank you!
CAN'T REACH OCULUS RUNTIME SERVICE. FIX THIS PLEASE. I DIDN'T PAY $400 FOR A FKN BOAT ANCHOR.2 votes
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced during a recent Oculus Rift outage. At this time, we believe this issue has been resolved. If you are continuing to experience issues or if you run into any problems in the future, please contact Oculus customer support: https://support.oculus.com/885981024820727/
I don't know why, but I think it would be neat to let other users, not just friends, to randomly walk around your home if it were 'Open.' they couldn't touch anything or even say anything, they could just see what others had done and experience houses that others had created.13 votes
The ability to mark your home as ‘Public’ to open it to all was added earlier this year. Check it out!
The other day it took me nearly 15 minutes to open all of the reward boxes I had earned since the last time I checked. It would be nice to just have an "open all" button that just adds whatever I got to my inventory. Grabbing the box and throwing it is only a cool mechanic the first couple of times. After about 100 it starts to get really old.165 votes
Great news: you now have the option to open all reward packs with a single click! We added a ‘Collect All’ button as part the August Rift S software update. Check it out, and claim those rewards!
Since the forced update to version 1.31 the Oculus software won't launch if I'm offline.
This is preventing me to calibrate my sensors, and I can't even play games that don't require internet connection.
I understand that the new Oculus Home may require internet connection to run, but now I can't even start the software to configure my Rift.
Please fix this issue.12 votes
Thanks for submitting this feedback. While we cannot guarantee full software functionality without an internet connection, you should be able to open the Oculus software and launch non-internet dependent apps from your library. If you are experiencing something else, please open a ticket with Oculus support so our team can investigate more deeply. Thank you!
Mobile app should be usable without oculus go. Should be able to browse the entire store and pre-purchase stuff for my rift on pc. Kind of a easy / missed opportunity.5 votes
Good news! This has been implemented! You can now use the Oculus companion app to browse apps for Oculus Rift S and Rift. Enjoy!
Sometimes the guardian system's light blue grid is too gentle when I'm quickly moving my arms and body in certain games (like ping pong, sword fighting, etc.). It feels like a suggestion not a warning and it's easy to reach past the bounds. In certain games, it would be very helpful for peace of mind if the guardian turned more forceful when reaching past the bounds for certain games - it could turn the grid red, sound a loud audio alarm, vibrate the out of bounds controller, or begin occluding vision completely. If it feels like a warning I will pull back more instinctually. I want it to break presence if I'm on the verge of hitting my laptop which would break presence even more.

As part of a recent software update, we added the ability to adjust the sensitivity of Guardian. These options can be found within the settings menu while in VR and will allow you to adjust for your desired experience. Thanks for submitting this idea!
Would be nice to recreate real room layouts.
- Basic floor layout.
- Setting wall hight.
- Adding Windows to walls (hight/width/distance from floor level)
- Adding Doors to walls (open or closed/hight/width)
- Adding Openings to walls (square or round/hight/width/distance from floor level)
- Adding outside environment (360/Panorama or ordinary photos as background outside windows/openings/doors.)
Thanks for voting for this idea! In a previous software update, we added the ability to import custom home layouts. Check out the following blog post for full details: https://www.oculus.com/blog/rift-creation-spotlight-building-oculus-home-with-custom-objects-and-models/?locale=en_US
In order to accommodate new custom artifacts from Medium, etc, and in anticipation of additional exterior “Surroundings”, we definitely need more Homes than the current 4 and we need to have the object limit raised from 500 to, say, 750. I have easily reached 500 items on 4 homes without displaying any game cartridges/boxes.11 votes
Thanks for submitting this idea! Earlier this year, we upped the amount of Homes one user can create from 4 to 12. Enjoy!
Currently, I can visit a friend's home, but we can't hang out together.
I wish we could invite someone and then be able to see each other as well. So that we could play around with all the gadgets together or just hang out.6 votes
Thanks for submitting this idea. The ability to visit and hang out with a friend in a Home was added as part of a previous software update. Enjoy!
In the Library/Updates view there's a place for patch notes with every app update, but the Oculus system updates never have any patch notes. Instead the patch notes are posted on the Oculus forums. It would be nice to see what I just installed without going to the forums.
Facebook Spaces is another repeat offender. It seems so strange, since having a place to put the notes is your own feature.17 votes
Thanks for submitting this idea. Patch notes have been added to the Oculus system software updates. To see what’s new in the latest Oculus system software update, navigate to Library > Updates and click the ’What’s New’ button under a recent Oculus system update.
As someone who has really enjoyed setting up multiple homes, I think it would be awesome to be able to move between different homes without opening the Oculus Home Menu. For example, being able to place the "home-hopping" crystal balls as decorations on a desk or table would be great. Alternatively, being able to place wall-mounted portals through which we could teleport between homes might be even better.
If such an object or portal could be set up between one of my homes and a friend's home, that would be better yet.32 votes
Thanks for voting for this idea! Earlier in the year, we introduced Gateways, which let you link other Homes. These can be your other Homes or even a friend’s Home! You can find Gateways within your inventory while in Home. Enjoy!
Create blank picture frames of various sizes that the user can import their own photography/art into and be able to decorate their Dash 2.0 home with.
More simply, allow the users to import their own photography/art into their Dash homes.32 votes
This can be accomplished through a combination of importing UGC objects and utilizing the Oculus created Special Items. Marking as complete.
Teleporting in home is ok since the area is small But it definitely needs Snap Turning to make it feel smother and more comfortable.29 votes
Thanks for this submission. Snap turning in Oculus Home was added as part of a previous software update. You can control options in the Settings menu while in Oculus Home. Thanks!
