Oculus Rift S and Rift
Welcome to the Oculus Rift S and Rift feedback forum! This is the location to provide all your feature requests and ideas for the Oculus Rift platform. We're looking forward to hearing from you on the following areas of the product:
- Dash: Oculus Dash is the in-VR command center the pops up when you hit the Oculus button on your Touch controller. Dash allows you to access PC Desktop apps, your VR Library, and other system settings and services from anywhere in VR.
- Desktop App: This is the out-of-VR Oculus application on your PC that allows you to do things like browse the store, manage your settings, and view your friends list, among other things.
- General: Use this category for any feedback that doesn’t fit neatly into one of the other more specific categories.
- Home: This is your customizable in-VR home where you can show off your unique style and decorations.
- Store: The place where all VR app purchasing takes place. The Store category covers both the out-of-VR and in-VR stores.

Facebook account requirement - Selling my Oculus the second I can find an Index available.
Your lost, guys, requiring a FB account to operate my Rift is the tipping point. Not in a million years I'll sign for a FB account.

Different boundaries for controllers and HMD
I would like to see 3D boundaries, but very unlikely you do that, so option 2:
Different boundaries for controllers and HMD. You can draw 2 boundaries, one will apear if HMD is nearby, second if controllers are nearby. So, if you have low furniture inside boundaries, you can make a controllers playzone included them and HMD playsone not including them (Oculus, don't say "get it out of your boundaries" - between [always see boundaries becouse of small playzone]/[turn off boundaries to not always see them in small playzone]/[make a larger boundaries including low furniture in playzone] people would choose…1 vote -

Focal Point Changer
The device currently only have IPD slider to cater to the customization of an individual's optic capacity. My biggest problem is that the focal point window is so small. Anything beyond my arms length (closer or farther) is blurry, and anything out of center is also blurry. Can the developers add more customization features to allow users to fix focal point problems?

Can I play World of Warcraft?
It would be fun to WOW. To be able to stroll through Ironforge or Stormwind would be so neat.

Night Vision Function
I don't know how much it might add to the production cost, and therefore the final product cost, but I like that Occulus Rift S doesn't use lasers, or mounted things, extra boxes, or whatever to track. I like that it is just the goggles and controllers, and poof tracking and working.
However, I hate that it complains there's not enough light to track properly. I understand why there isn't, it's using cameras to track, but I hate that it can't track with dim lighting, or no lights at all.
I tend to use my Rift S at night, and…

Oculus Rift CV1
Was talking to someone today on support because my CV1 cable for the original rift is malfunctioning and i can't find a replacement anywhere, on amazon the cords can't really be bought anymore and **** even a headset on there is like $650 usd. Ebay the cords are going for around 150-200$usd in good condition, damaged cords are around 60USD and broken are around 30$ usd, was thinking that if y'all brought back the CV1 cables and started making them as something people could buy, i know desperate people like me who bought the original rift then saw the parts…

Show us our suggestions are actually considered and the Rift s isn't abandoned
It would be really nice for Oculus to start showing any kind of sign they're actually listening to us here. It's all good and well if you have a Quest, you get plenty of updates and improvements, but Rift s users are left dead in the water with virtually no updates, issues that have been around for over a year now, and no new major features added. The Quest is treated like the perfect baby, nurtured and improved, while the Rift S is treated like the problem child, ignored and left to fester with its issues. Buying the Rift S…

allow not using a play area
Basically, I wanna be able to to use my headset in very low light conditions for seated experiences that may not even need 6dof. It would be cool to keep 6dof in low-light, but if there was even a 3dof only toggle where it would stop saying "play area not found" when I just wanna run a racing sim, that would be swell.

Allow Touch controllers to be turned completely off WITHOUT REMOVING THE BATTERIES
So, I don't know about others, but I play a lot of VR sim racing, etc. where I never need to touch the controllers. Beyond that, the controllers drain battery EVEN WHEN THE RIFT S IS NOT IN USE. Give us a friggin' controller on/off toggle. Please. It's simple.

Add windows environment variable to ignore guardian set up
My guardian set up is disabled every time I launch my rift, occasionally my rift forget's the guardian set up and asks me to re draw my boundaries. I would like to see a windows environment variable enabled that allows me to force guardian set up off. As a user who ignores set up, I should not have to re define floor height and skip boundary set up each time I play; or better yet, when the rift forgets it's not set up, boundary

Nvidia Quadro RTX support
Support of Nvidia Quadro RTX graphic cards + USB-C Thunder for RiftS. It works, but full graphic power is not supported. VR-Picture is shaking and rendering slowly. E.g. HL:Alyx is only playable with low quality.

adjustable z axis for disabled use in reclined position
I'm disabled and I've been trying to use the Oculus Rift in my recliner, but that means my body's axis is horizontal to the floor. My chair obstructs my access to some Virtual controls in some games and my head has to tilt uncomfortably in most games.
I would like to be able to change the horizon axis so it's more aligned with my body. I know there are a lot of conditions that might lead people to be unable to stand or sit up for VR, so this feature could open doors for lots of people to enjoy this…

stop the oculas software starting up on its own when you launch vr games that you dont want to play in vr.
a way to stop the oculas software from starting up when you launch vr games that can be played without vr. i launch Ark from my epic games launcher and the oculas software starts and i don want it to, if i close it Ark crashes. it seems ridiculous that i cant stop it from starting
